I am a self-taught artist and designer. I love to analyse art that inspires me, so that I can work out the techniques and ideas that sit behind them. I tend to visualise the concepts that I want to express in my mind first, before trying to reflect them onto the page. I particularly love representing abstract themes and ideas in literal or symbolic ways, as it's very much how my imagination works. I have been using Adobe Illustrator for about a year and Photoshop for just over half a year (previously I made do with a combination of free apps).
